## What SALTEN is

SALTEN is AI search analytics / AI visibility tracking (GEO) software. Marketing teams add a project (brand URL, country, language), pick tracked prompts (conversational questions buyers ask AI assistants), choose AI models, and SALTEN runs every prompt on every selected model once per day, extracts brand mentions, rank, sentiment and cited sources, and aggregates them into Visibility, Position, Sentiment and Share of Voice.

## Metrics

- **Visibility** — Share of AI answers (chats) in which the brand appears at least once, 0–100%. Computed per day, model, country and topic.
- **Position** — Average rank of the brand among all brands named in an answer (1 = named first). Lower is better.
- **Sentiment** — Average tone of the phrases about the brand on a 0–100 scale (50 = neutral), scored per answer by an extraction model.
- **Share of Voice** — The brand's mentions divided by all brand mentions in the selected slice, in percent.
- **Sources** — URLs and domains the AI used (retrieved) or cited (linked) while answering, with usage and citation counts and page/domain classification.
